The Galaxy S9 will be launching alongside the Galaxy S9+ on the coming Sunday. Popular tipster Roland Quandt has unearthed plenty of press renders of the different color variants of the Galaxy S9.
The Galaxy S9 will be arriving with 6.2-inch S-AMOLED display with reduced bottom bezel compared to Galaxy S8. It will be flanked with AKG tuned stereo speakers. Its backside will feature a 12-megapixel camera with variable aperture of f/1.5 to f/2.4. The frontside of the phone will include 8-megapixel autofocus enabled f/1.6 aperture lens.
The Exynos 9810 chipset and 4 GB of RAM will power the Galaxy S9 in Europe. It will feature a microSD card slot and an inbuilt storage of 64 GB. It will be loaded with Samsung Experience 9.0 flavored Android 8.0. It will include a 3,000mAh battery with wireless charging and fast charging support. Other specs include voice recognition, face recognition, iris scanner, Bluetooth 5.0 and USB-C. The U.S. and China are rumored to get the Snapdragon 845 variant of the Galaxy S9.
The leakster claims that the Galaxy S9 pre-orders may start on the day it will be unveiled. It is expected to release with Galaxy S9+ in the market on March 8. It will be available in colors like Midnight Black, Coral Blue and Lilac Purple.
