Samsung is known for announcing its S-series flagships at the beginning of each year, followed by its Z-branded foldables in the second half. Keeping in line with this product strategy, the South Korean tech giant recently unveiled the Galaxy S25 series and is expected to announce the Galaxy Z Fold 7 and Z Flip 7 in July this year.Months ahead of the launch, a leak by Panda Flash X has surfaced, revealing the RAM and storage variants of both foldables.
Samsung Galaxy Z Fold 7, Z Flip 7 configurations (rumored)
According to the leak, the Galaxy Z Fold 7 and Z Flip 7 will be powered by the Snapdragon 8 Elite for Galaxy globally. This speculation is based on the fact that current prototypes are running on Snapdragon chipsets only, suggesting there may not be an Exynos variant of the upcoming foldables.
The leak reveals that the Galaxy Z Fold 7 will arrive in 256 GB, 512 GB, and 1 TB versions. All of them are tipped to feature 12 GB of RAM. On the other hand, the Flip 7 will be available in 256 GB and 512 GB versions, both equipped with 12 GB of RAM.
Recent reports have claimed that the Z Fold 7 and Z Flip 7 will be priced same as their previous generations. It is speculated that the Z Fold 7 will inherit the Z Fold Special Edition’s 8-inch internal foldable screen. At the same time, Samsung is likely to increase the size of the Z Flip 7’s internal and external displays.
The Galaxy Z Flip 6 has a 6.7-inch internal screen and a 3.4-inch external display. As per reports, the Z Flip 7 may house a 6.85-inch screen and a 4-inch cover display.
