Gionee has announced a new mid-ranger smartphone known as the Gionee M15 which will be first available in the Nigerian market. This device will take on the likes of other competing models within the same segment like including the recently announced Infinix Note 10 Pro.
The Gionee M15 features a 6.67” LCD display upfront which offers a FHD+ screen resolution and 60Hz screen refresh rate. It dons a central hole-punch cutout which houses a 16 megapixels selfie camera.
Around the back of the phone, there’s a rectangular camera island that houses a quad-camera system consisting of a 48 megapixels main camera, 5 megapixels ultra-wide lens, 2 megapixels macro camera, as well as a 2 megapixels depth sensor.
Under the hood, the Gionee M15 is powered by an octa-core MediaTek Helio G90 chipset which will be paired with up to 8GB RAM and 128GB onboard storage that can be further expanded via a microSD card.
Keeping it’s lights on is none other than a massive 5,100mAh battery which carries support for 18W fast-charging. Other than that, it’s also worth noting that the device also features a 3.5mm headphone jack and a rear-mounted fingerprint scanner.
In the Nigerian market, the Gionee M15 is priced at N106,200 (US$259) for it’s 8GB+128GB variant.
