Gionee M7 Power, the upcoming full-screen smartphone from the Chinese brand has been recently spotted on GFXBench benchmarking site. The company has already teased a bezel-less smartphone on its Weibo company. A newer Weibo post from the company confirms that the Gionee M7 Power will be unveiled to the world through a launch event that will be held on Sept. 28 in Thailand.
The full-screen design display on the LG G6 and LG V30 phones are dubbed as FullVision by LG. Samsung uses full-screen Infinity Display on Galaxy S8 duo and Galaxy Note 8. The upcoming Huawei Mate 10 Pro is expected to arrive with Huawei’s EntireView full-screen display. What about Gionee? The press invites images shows that the Gionee M7 Power’s full-screen design is called FullView.
As it can be seen in all the above images, the top and bottom bezels are slightly thick and the sides are very thin. The Gionee logo is present on the bottom bezel. The images also reveal that the Gionee would be delivering a high screen-to-body ratio. Speculations have it that features a 6-inch display that will support a resolution of 2,160 x 1,080 pixels and an aspect ratio of 18:9 It is speculated to be powered by MediaTek MT6757CD chipset and 6 GB of RAM. The native storage of the phone is 64 GB. It is also rumored to house a huge battery and likely to feature a steel body.
