Chinese smartphone maker Gionee has announced a new entry-level smartphone known as the Gionee Ti13 in the Chinese market where the phone carries an affordable starting price of just 899 Yuan (US$141).
The new Gionee Ti13 features a 6.53” IPS LCD display that offers a HD+ screen resolution, 60Hz refresh rate, as well as an 8 megapixels front-facing camera to help with selfie and video calls.
On the rear side of the phone, it sports an unique hexagonal-shaped camera island which houses a triple-camera setup comprising of a 16 megapixels main camera, as well as a pair of 5 megapixels and 2 megapixels auxiliary cameras.
Under the hood, the Gionee Ti13 is powered by an octa-core MediaTek Helio P60 chipset which is paired with up to 6GB RAM and 256GB built-in storage which can be further expanded via a microSD card.
To keep it’s lights on, the phone is backed by a respectable 5,000mAh battery which carries support for 18W fast-charging. Other than that, it also comes with a side-mounted fingerprint scanner as well as a 3.5mm headphone jack for wired earphones.
