The Samsung Galaxy Note 8 was rumored to arrive as the first smartphone driven by Snapdragon 836. However, the smartphone has been made official with Snapdragon 835. A new tweet shared by well-known leakster, Evan Blass has revealed that the upcoming Google Pixel 2 and Pixel XL 2 will be powered by Snapdragon 836 chipset.

The dual rear cameras are the oomph factor of the Galaxy Note 8 but the Google Pixel 2 duo phones are unlikely to come with dual rear cameras. However, it is expected to arrive with various attractive features such as latest Android version, Edge Sense pressure-sensitive frame and the upcoming Snapdragon 836 chipset that is believed to an upgraded version of SD 835 chip.
On Aug. 21, Google had announced the Android 8.0 Oreo operating system. It is now seeding to Nexus 6P, Nexus 5X, Google Pixel C, Pixel, Pixel XL and Nexus Player. However, the upcoming Pixel 2 and Pixel XL 2 phones are rumored to arrive preloaded with Android Oreo. Previous rumors have revealed that the Google Pixel 2 duo would be launching in October this year. Blass has also claimed that the Pixel 2 and Pixel XL 2 would be unveiled on Oct. 5. The original Pixel smartphones were announced on Oct. 4 last year.
