Google Pixel 2 XL that was unveiled alongside Pixel 2 is a larger, advanced and expensive model and sports a design that different from its predecessors. The handset measures 157.9 x 76.7 x 7.9mm and its weight is 175 grams and it is available in colors like Just Black and Black & White. It lacks a 3.5mm audio jack, but comes with additional features like IP67 certified chassis and pressure sensitive frame.

Since it is an LG made device, the Pixel 2 XL features the same 6-inch P-OLED 18:9 display that is available on the LG V30. It carries support for QHD+ resolution. It is protected by Gorilla Glass 5. Its display supports 100 percent DCI-P3 coverage. It delivers a screen-to-body ratio of 76.4 percent.
The Snapdragon 835 chipset lies under the hood of the Pixel 2 XL. It features 4 GB of RAM and comes in storage choices like 64 GB and 128 GB. The handset is powered by a 3,520 mAh battery.
The 12.2-megapixel rear-mounted camera is coupled with features like OIS, PDAF, laser autofocus and dual-LED flash. An 8-megapixel camera is present on the frontside. Other features of the Pixel 2 XL are Android 8.0 Oreo, Wi-Fi 802.11ac, 4G VoLTE, 5.0 Bluetooth, USB-C and fingerprint scanner.

Like the Pixel 2, the larger model is now available on pre-orders through Verizon in the U.S. Through Google Store, customers can avail the unlocked model with Project Fi e-SIM support. Both the storage variants respectively cost $849 and $949. Its shipments are expected to begin in 2 to 3 weeks.
It is also available on pre-orders in countries like Australia, Canada, Germany, India and the U.K. Other markets like Italy, Singapore and Spain are going to receive the Pixel 2 XL later this year. Pixel 2 XL buyers are also receiving unlimited Google Photos storage until 2020.
