Google will be announcing the Pixel 4a mid-range phone later today in the U.S. The search engine giant is known for launching new phones in the month of October. Recent reports have revealed that the company will not be launching the Pixel 5 XL along with Pixel 5. Moreover, the Pixel 5 won’t be a flagship device. It is speculated that the Pixel 4a 5G and the Pixel 5 5G may debut in October. Notable tipster Ishan Agarwal has shared a leaked poster that gives a side view of the Pixel 4a 5G and Pixel 5 5G smartphones.
The leaked poster shows that the Pixel 4a 5G is a bigger device compared to the Pixel 5 placed on the left. The Pixel 5 has a brushed metal appearance whereas the Pixel 4a 5G seems to have a polycarbonate body. The Pixel 4a 5G seems to feature a colored power button.
It is speculated that the Pixel 4a 5G is codenamed as Bramble. The Pixel 5 is said to be codenamed as Redfin. Rumors have it that the Pixel 5 could be powered by the Snapdragon 765G chipset.
There is no word on the processor that will be fueling the Pixel 4a 5G. Probably, the company may settle for Snapdragon 690 chipset for the Pixel 4a 5G. There is a possibility that the Pixel 4a 5G and Pixel 5 5G will be equipped with a punch-hole display like the Pixel 4a. Hopefully, the rumor mill will spill more details on these phones in the coming weeks.
