The upcoming Google Pixel 4a was expected to get announced at the Google I/O 2020 this month. However, the Google event had to be canceled due to the COVID-19 outbreak. Still, the rumor mill had speculated that the phone may debut later this month or in June. However, Jon Prosser who leaked the iPhone SE launch date and has recently shared details on the forthcoming iPhone 12 series has claimed that the Pixel 4a will be debuting July.
According to the latest tweet from Prosser, the Google Pixel 4a is currently planned to get announced on July 13. There won’t be a 5G variant and it will come in Just Black and Barely Blue color editions. He did not share any other information on its specifications.

The Pixel 4a has a 5.81-inch OLED display with a punch-hole at the upper-left corner. The Snapdragon 730 chipset is present under the hood of the device along with 4 GB of RAM.
The Pixel 4a is expected to come in storage versions such as 64 GB and 128 GB. The phone draws power from a 3,080mAh battery with 18W fast charging.
The rear side of the smartphone has a square-shaped camera with a 12-megapixel lens and an LED flash. A fingerprint scanner is also available on the backside of the phone. Some reports have claimed that the base model will be priced at $299 and the higher variant may cost $399.
