Last year, in May, Google unveiled the Pixel Fold, as its first foldable phone at the I/O 2023 event. Hence, it is speculated that the search engine giant may showcase the Pixel Fold 2 at the upcoming I/O 2024 event in May. Ahead of the expected launch, SmartPrix has teamed up with reliable leaker OnLeaks to release the CAD renders of the device. The images show that the Fold 2 will sport a new design as compared to the predecessor.
The report states that the Pixel Fold 2 has a bigger and thinner form factor than the previous generation. The device is said to have 155.2 x 77.1 x 10.54 mm dimensions. When opened, the screen measures 7.9 inches diagonally. It the display corners are to be counted, the size increases to 8.1 inches.
In the same way, the Pixel Fold 2’s outer screen is said to measure 6.4 inches. With display corners included, the size increases to 6.6 inches.
