Android Rumors Google Leaked News

Google Pixel Tablet’s to Feature LCD Panel, 256GB Storage, Reveal New Leak

The rumor mill is gradually leaking information about the Google Pixel Tablet, which will be the company’s first tablet with Pixel branding. In May 2023, Google is expected to hold the I/O 2023 developers conference to announce the key features of Android 14. Both the Pixel 7a and the Pixel Fold foldable phone may be unveiled on the same platform. Speculations are rife that the Pixel Tablet may also go official at I/O 2023. Tipster Kuba Wojciechowski has leaked some fresh details about the tablet, along with its images.

Shown in the post are the leaked images of the Pixel Tablet. The images don’t belong to the final version, but to a pre-production unit. The images confirm that the tablet will arrive with a speaker dock. The leak claims that there will also be another dock meant for charging.

The Pixel Tablet’s previous rumors have claimed that it will have a 10.95-inch display. As per Wojciechowski, the tablet will be fitted with a CSOT-supplied display, which will be integrated with a Richtek six-channel LED driver. This suggests that the tablet will have an LCD screen. For security, it will have a side-facing fingerprint sensor.

The Pixel Tablet will arrive with 8 GB of Samsung LPDDR5 RAM and 256 GB of Kioxia UFS storage. Previous leaks have claimed that it may also come in a 128 GB option.

The tablet’s codename is “Tangorpro,” and it will be known as the Google Tensor G2 chip. The leak reveals that the variant with the “Tangor” codename, which was supposed to feature the first-generation Tensor chip, has been cancelled. As per other reports, it will have an 8-megapixel Sony IMX355 camera on the front and back.
