Realme had already confirmed that the company will be holding an official launch event during the upcoming Mobile World Congress. It is highly speculated that the company will announce the feverishly-anticipated Realme X50 Pro during the launch event.
Today, Realme’s Chief Marketing Officer Xu Qi has begun teasing this upcoming flagship device via his Weibo handle. This teaser comes in the form of a screenshot showing off what seems to be the “About Phone” section of the Realme X50 Pro, along with some of the device’s key specs.
As expected, the Realme X50 Pro will indeed be driven by the latest Snapdragon 865 SoC. It will be a 5G-enabled smartphone which is capable of supporting both standalone (SA) and non-standalone (NSA) modes.
The device will feature 12GB of LPDDR5 RAM coupled with a hefty 256GB native storage space in it’s memory compartment. Along with the Xiaomi Mi 10 and Mi 10 Pro, the Realme X50 Pro is among the first in the world to utilize the new LPDDR5 technology manufactured by Micron.
Other than that, the Realme X50 Pro will also run on the company’s proprietary Realme UI 1.0 (based on Android 10).
At current stage, the camera configurations and specs of the device remain pretty much a mystery. However, it is likely that that device will continue to impress with a quad-camera setup that could features a 108 megapixels main snapper.
