OnePlus is all set to announce the brand new OnePlus Nord 2 5G on July 22nd this week. With less than four days away from it’s official unveiling, it’s unsurprising that amount of leaks pertaining to the phone intensify with each passing day.
The latest leak comes from reputable leaker Ishan Agarwal who tweeted pretty much the entire specs sheet of the OnePlus Nord 2 5G, as well as it’s official press renders that show off the front and rear design of the device.
According to Ishan, the OnePlus Nord 2 5G will be featuring a 6.43” Fluid AMOLED display upfront that offers a FHD+ screen resolution, 410 PPI, 90Hz refresh rate, as well as a 20:9 tall aspect ratio. The front display also has a hole-punch cutout on the upper-left corner of the screen which houses a 32 megapixels front-facing camera for selfie and video-calling purposes.
At the back of the phone, it brings along a rectangular camera island which boasts a triple-cam setup comprising of a 50 megapixels Sony IMX766 main camera, 8 megapixels ultra-wide lens, as well as a 2 megapixels monochrome lens.
The OnePlus Nord 2 5G, as we already know, will be powered by an octa-core MediaTek Dimensity 1200-AI chipset which will be paired with up to 12GB LPDDR5 RAM and 256GB UFS 3.1 storage in the memory department.
To keep the phone running through the day, the OnePlus Nord 2 5G is fitted with a 4,500mAh dual-cell battery which carries support for 65W fast-charging. On the software-side, the phone boots on OxygenOS 11.3 (ColorOS codebase) which will receive 2-years major OS update and 3 years security patches.
For those who’re interested, it’s 8GB+128GB model will be available in both Gray Sierra and Blue Haze colorways, while the 12GB+256GB variant receives an addition Green Wood color option.
