Vivo has confirmed that the company will be launching a new Y series smartphone known as the Vivo Y76 5G in the Malaysian market on November 23rd. Ahead of it’s launch, most of the device’s key specs had apparently been leaked by reputable tipster @Sudhanshu1414.
According to the latest information, the upcoming Vivo Y76 5G is expected to feature a 6.58” LCD display that offers a FHD+ screen resolution as well as a 60Hz refresh rate. It’s waterdrop-notch is also said to be home to a 16 megapixels front-facing camera.
Around the back of the phone, the Vivo Y76 5G has an rectangular camera bump that houses a trio of cameras that include a 50 megapixels main camera and a pair of 2 megapixels macro and bokeh lens.
Unlike the recently announced Vivo Y76s 5G which was powered by an octa-core MediaTek Dimensity 810 chipset, the forthcoming model settles with a slightly toned-down Dimensity 700 chipset instead. This will be paired with 8GB RAM and 128GB built-in storage in the memory department.
To keep it’s lights on, the Vivo Y76 5G is backed by a respectable 4,100mAh battery which carries support for 44W fast-charging. Other than that, the phone also features a side-mounted fingerprint scanner, 3.5mm headphone jack, and is shipped with Funtouch OS based on Android 11 out of the box.
For those who’re interested, the Vivo Y76 5G is available in both Cosmic Aurora & Midnight Space colorways. Pricing and availability of the phone however, remains under the wraps at the moment.
