During the past few weeks, Huawei has announced quite a number of mid-ranger smartphones including the Huawei Y6p and Huawei Y8s.
Now, it seems like the company is prepping yet another affordable handset known as the Huawei P Smart S. As its name suggests, this device is expected to be an upgraded model of the current Huawei P Smart.
Courtesy of reputable leaker Evan Blass, we’re able to have a look at the device’s official renders ahead of its launch.
Based on the renders, we could see that the Huawei P Smart S will be maintaining the same dewdrop-notch design for its front panel. However, it is not known where the device will continue to arrive with the same 6.21-inches display size as the Huawei P Smart.
On the flip-side, there will be a pill-shaped camera module which houses a total of 3 cameras along with an LED flash. The Huawei P Smart in comparison, only has a dual-camera setup at the rear.
Moreover, the main camera of the upcoming Huawei P Smart S will be upgraded from 13 megapixels to 48 megapixels as well. As for the other two cameras, they are likely to be an ultra-wide lens and a depth sensor.
Currently, we do not have much information pertaining to the device’s specifications. However, it will probably come with a Kirin 710 or a MediaTek’s “P” series processor under the hood.
For those who’re interested, the Huawei P Smart S will be offered in three different color variants including Emerald Green, Breathing Crystal, as well as Midnight Black.
