Although we are still probably months away from the official launch of the highly anticipated Google Pixel 6 smartphones, but recent leaks by reputable leaker Jon Prosser have given us our first look at these devices way ahead of it’s actual launch.
According to him, the upcoming Google Pixel 6 series is expected to bring along two flagship models including the Google Pixel 6 and a higher-end Pixel 6 Pro. Based on the renders, the design of the Pixel 6 series smartphones will receive a huge overhaul and doesn’t look anything like it’s predecessors.
Around the back of the phone, the signature square-shape camera module is now replaced by a humongous camera island which stretches across the width of the rear panel. For the Google Pixel 6, it appears slightly smaller in size and seems to feature a dual-camera setup instead of a triple-camera system seen in the Pixel 6 Pro.
Similarly, the renders also suggest that the upcoming Pixel 6 series smartphones will be arriving with a three-tone design that looks refreshing and unique – something that sets the phones apart from those mainstream colors we normally see.
Upfront, Google also shifted the hole-punch cutout from the upper-left corner to a central one instead. Likewise, the Google Pixel 6 devices will continue to retain the good old flat panel as well.
Since Google normally launch it’s flagship models during the forth-quarter of the year, we’re probably at least three months away from it’s official launch. In the meantime, let’s hope we’re able to hear more about the Pixel 6 series devices in the upcoming days!
