Recently, a massive leak by well-accredited leaker Evan Blass had revealed nearly the entire specs of the upcoming Motorola Edge 20 series which will apparently include at least three different models including Motorola Edge 20, Edge 20 Pro, as well as Edge 20 Lite.
Today, courtesy of our friends over at Pricebaba, we’re finally able to have our first near-official look at the vanilla Motorola Edge 20 through their collaboration with famed leaker Steve Hemmerstoffer.
As seen from the CAD-based renderings that were published, the Motorola Edge 20 is expected to arrive with a central hole-punch display which measures 6.7” diagonally.
It’s is likely to be a LCD panel which offers a FHD+ screen resolution and 120Hz fast refresh rate. In-display fingerprint scanner will be absent on the phone as it was depicted with a side-mounted fingerprint scanner in the renders.
At the back of the phone, we do get a vertically-stacked triple-cam system that include a 108 megapixels main camera, 16 megapixels ultra-wide lens, as well as an 8 megapixels telephoto lens which reportedly carries support for 3x optical zoom. Based on the renders, the Motorola Edge 20 will be available in two different colorways including White and Blue, but there’s always a possibility that we could see some other colors at launch.
Speaking of it’s internals, the Motorola Edge 20 is expected to be powered by an octa-core Snapdragon 778G chipset which will be coupled with up to 8GB RAM and 256GB onboard storage in the memory department. To keep it’s lights on, the phone is likely to draw power from a 4,000mAh battery which should come with some form of fast-charging support.
