Although HMD Global had just announced the Nokia G50 smartphone in the European market last week, but the company appears to be prepping yet another G series smartphone known as the Nokia G300 according to the folks over at NPU.

To substantiate it’s claim, the publication had also released an alleged rendering of the phone which revealed a rather familiar-looking design similar to what we saw on the Nokia G50 smartphone.

In terms of specs, the Nokia G300 is expected to sport a HD+ TFT display which measures at least 6.5” diagonally. On top of that, it was also mentioned that the front-facing camera would be an 8 megapixels sensor as well.

On the rear side of the phone, it has a circular camera island that houses a modest triple-cam setup comprising of a 16 megapixels main camera, 5 megapixels ultra-wide lens, as well as a 2 megapixels depth sensor.

Under the hood, the Nokia G300 is said to be driven by the same octa-core Snapdragon 480 (5G) mobile platform which is also found in the Nokia G50 and Nokia XR20 devices. This will be paired with 64GB worth of expandable storage in the memory department.

To keep it’s lights on, the phone is likely to be fitted with a 4,470mAh battery which has an unspecified charging speed. On the software-side, the Nokia G300 will be shipped with Android 11 out of the box.
