OPPO had already launched a number of A series smartphones this year with OPPO A94 being their latest addition. Right now, the Chinese smartphone is also confirmed to be working on another smartphone from the same series known as the OPPO A74 which is available in both 4G and 5G flavors.
Prior to their official launch, the official renders of both devices had already been leaked out, revealing the phone’s design in full glory. Overall, it sports a pretty mainstream design that include a typical hole-punch display upfront, as well as a rectangular camera housing at the back.
The overall dimension of the OPPO A74 is said to measure 169.2 x 74.7 x 8.4 mm which weighs around 190 grams. Since the device lacks a side or rear-mounted fingerprint scanner, it is possible that the front display uses an AMOLED panel which supports an in-display fingerprint scanner.
Although the actual specs of the devices remain under the wrap, but the render did revealed that the device will feature a triple-camera setup at the back which as a 48 megapixels primary shooter thanks to the 48MP wording etched to the camera housing. As for the other two cameras, they are likely to be an ultra-wide unit as well as a macro/ depth sensor.
Other than that, we’d also heard from earlier leaks that the OPPO A74 devices are expected to feature a respectable 5,000mAh battery with 33W fast-charging support as well.
If nothing goes wrong, we can expect both devices to be launched later this month.
