Although OPPO has yet to even announce the launch date of the upcoming OPPO Reno4 series, but the promotional posters of the device had already been put up across several storefronts in China.
As we can see, the upcoming OPPO Reno4 will tout a brand new design language for its back panel. As usual, the device will maintain a quad-cameras system arranged in a “L-shape” setup. What’s interesting however, will be the camera lens protrusions which resemble what we’d seen on the iPhone 11.
The four cameras at the back are expected to consist of a main camera, ultra-wide lens, telephoto camera, as well as a depth sensor. This will be assisted by a LED flash located within the same module. This time round, the OPPO Reno4 will offer a superior night mode feature for video recording according to the promotional poster.
Since the OPPO Reno3 and Reno3 Pro are targeted at the upper mid-ranger segment, we can expect the upcoming Reno4 series to maintain the trend. Currently, both the Chinese and global model of the OPPO Reno3 are driven by a MediaTek SoC. Therefore, it is highly probable that the OPPO Reno4 will be powered by one of the more recent MediaTek’s Dimensity SoC.
Just like the newly announced OPPO Ace2, the OPPO Reno4 is also able to support the company’s proprietary 65W SuperVOOC 2.0 fast-charging. This device will definitely be a worthy competitor to the upcoming Vivo X50 which has been scheduled to be announced on June 1st.
