Over the past couple of months, we’d already heard about the existence of the Samsung Galaxy S21 FE which will be succeeding last year’s Galaxy S20 FE. Now, credits to notorious leaker Steve Hemmerstoffer, we’re once again able to have a good look at this upcoming handset way ahead of its official unveiling.
Starting with the front, the Galaxy S21 FE will be arriving with a flat, Infinity-O display which is said to measure 6.2” diagonally. That’s in fact slightly larger than the 6.1” display on the Galaxy S21. Furthermore, the Galaxy S21 FE is also comparatively larger with an overall dimension of 155.7 x 74.5 x 7.9mm.
Flipping the device over, it’ll reveal a seemingly similar design as the Galaxy S21 with its “Countour-Cut” camera housing. However, unlike the Galaxy S21 which has a camera bump that extends from the metal frame of the device, the S21 FE’s camera module is actually “integrated and protrudes directly from the rear panel” as noted by Steve Hemmerstoffer.
Other than that, the Galaxy S21 FE will still be coming with a triple-camera setup and retains the same “Glastic” rear panel. Since the device is expected to be priced lower than the Galaxy S21, its likely that the S21 FE will be arriving with a slightly toned-down camera system as well.
According to earlier reports, the Galaxy S21 FE is expected to break cover somewhere during the forth-quarter of the year, As usual, the device could be coming in both 4G and 5G variants depending on the market its launched in.
