Motorola is all set to announce the company’s upcoming flagship – Motorola Edge S – in the Chinese market on January 26th. What’s notable is that the Motorola Edge S will be the first smartphone in the world to be powered by the latest Snapdragon 870 chipset.
To keep the hype going, Motorola has released a new teaser of the device today which revealed the rear design of the upcoming handset. At first glance, its rear design will inevitably reminds you of the Motorola G 5G and Moto rolaG 5G Plus thanks to the identical-looking squarish camera island on the upper-left corner.
While the front design is still under wraps, but it is expected to feature a dual hole-punch cutout just like the Motorola G 5G Plus according to recent leaks. Therefore, we won’t be expecting any fresh design language for the upcoming Motorola Edge S this time round.
Coming to its specs, the Snapdragon 870 chipset powering the device sits between the Snapdragon 865 and the Snapdragon 888 in terms of performance. This is something which had already been confirmed by the score it attained on AnTuTu recently.
Other than that, the device is also tipped to arrive with a 6.7-inches FHD+ display, 105Hz refresh rate, 64MP primary shooter as well as a respectable 5,000mAh battery.
