Recently, the rumor mills have been spilling out loads of information pertaining to the upcoming OnePlus 9 series which is slated to be launched during the first-quarter of 2021.
Although we’re till months away from its official launch, but we already have a good idea on the expected design of its “Pro” model courtesy of the recently published CAD-based renderings of the device. To make the matter worse, even the alleged real life images of the OnePlus 9 5G had been leaked out today by the folks over at PhoneArena.
Based on the set of live images published, the front design of the OnePlus 9 5G doesn’t seems to differ much from the current OnePlus 8T (Review) as it retains the same hole-punch design accompanied by slim bezels along its two sides.
It’ll be a flat panel which is expected to be an AMOLED display that measures 6.5-inches diagonally. Likewise, you can also expect it to support the usual FHD+ screen resolution topped with a smooth 120Hz screen refresh rate.
Coming to its rear, the OnePlus 9 5G will be fitted with a rectangular camera housing which play host to a triple cameras system. This time round, OnePlus has changed things a little by having two large cameras at the top accompanied by a considerably smaller one below. Similarly, towards the right of the camera array, there’s also a LED flash as well as an “Ultra Shot” branding.
In terms of specs, the OnePlus 9 5G is powered by the latest Snapdragon 888 chipset which will also be fueling majority of the upcoming flagship phones. Memory-wise, there’ll be at least 8GB RAM and 128GB onboard storage.
Even though there isn’t any concrete details with regards to its cameras, but the publisher do believe that the primary camera of its rear camera system will be a 48 megapixels unit, while the selfie camera settles for a 16 megapixels sensor.
