Besides the recently announced OPPO A92s, OPPO is currently prepping another mid-ranger smartphone known as the OPPO A52. This device had already been spotted on China Telecom’s website along with its official specs and renders.
Starting with its front panel, the OPPO A52 features 6.5-inches LCD display which encompasses a FHD+ screen resolution. The hole-punched compartment on the top-left corner is home to an 8 megapixels selfie camera.
On its back panel, there is a rectangular camera module which resembles those we’d seen among most mid-ranger phones in recent months. This module houses a quad-camera setup consisting of a 12 megapixels main shooter, 8 megapixels ultra-wide lens, 2 megapixels macro camera, as well as a 2 megapixels depth sensor.
In terms of internals, the OPPO A52 is driven by an octa-core Snapdragon 665 platform coupled with 8GB RAM and 128GB onboard storage which is further expandable by up to 256GB via a microSD card.
To keep its lights on, there will be a hefty 5,000mAh battery which support up to 18W fast-charging. The device is expected to run on the latest ColorOS 7 based on Android 10 out of the box.
For those who’re interested, there will be a total of three different colorways available to choose from including Purple, Black and Starshine White. According to its listing, the OPPO A52 will be priced at 1,799 Yuan (US$254) for its 8GB+128GB model.
