Recently, several Xiaomi and Redmi smartphones has begun receiving the highly anticipated MIUI 11 update in China. These devices include Redmi 7, Redmi Note 7, Redmi Note 7 Pro and Redmi K20 to name a few.
Although MIUI 11 is currently limited only to the Chinese market, but it wouldn’t be long before it will hit the global users as well. According to Xiaomi India, the global rollout will commence on October 22nd.
The detailed roadmap published by the company shows that the MIUI 11 update will be rolled out in four phases, over a span of two months time – covering a total of 28 devices as listed below:

Seen above, Xiaomi MIUI 11 update plan in fact covers two years old devices including the Mi Max 2 which was announced back in May 2017. That’s certainly something applaudable for the Chinese smartphone maker.
However, it is also obvious that some prominent devices including Mi 9T and Mi 9T Pro were excluded in the current roadmap. These devices should eventually receive the MIUI 11 update eventually.
