It has been nearly one year since Tecno announced the POVA 2 smartphone in the global market last year. Now, a series of new leaks on Twitter had apparently revealed some of the POVA 3’s key specs which give us a good idea on what to expect from the forthcoming model ahead of it’s actual unveiling.
According to the details posted, the Tecno POVA 3 is tipped to arrive with a large 6.9” IPS LCD display which might feature a FHD+ screen resolution topped with a smooth 90Hz refresh rate. Also, it’s expected to feature an 8 megapixels front-facing camera which wil be flanked by a dual-LED flash to help with selfies under low-light environment.
Coming to the imaging front, the Tecno POVA 3 is also said to feature a 50 megapixels triple-camera array on the rear side, although there isn’t any information pertaining to the other two auxiliary cameras.
Under the hood, the Tecno POVA 3 is expected to be powered by an octa-core MediaTek Helio G88 chipset which is an incremental upgrade over alst year’s Helio G85 platform. Memory-wise, the phone is also said to be geared with up to 6GB RAM and 128GB onboard storage which is likely to be expandable via a microSD card.
Last but not the least, the Tecno POVA 3 will also allegedly retain it’s massive 7,000mAh battery capacity that comes with 33W fast-charging support. On the software side of things, the device will be shipped with Android 12 OS out of the box.
