POCO will soon be launching the much anticipated POCO M3 Pro smartphone on May 19th next week. Ahead of it’s launch, the company has been teasing on it’s specs almost any other day, giving us a good idea on what to expect from this upcoming smartphone.
Starting with the front, POCO has confirmed that the POCO M3 Pro will be equipped with a 6.5” FHD+ DotDisplay that’s likely to be fitted with a LCD panel due to the presence of a side-mounted fingerprint scanner which was seen from it’s recently leaked renders.
Furthermore, it was also revealed that the front display will be able to support 90Hz refresh rate which is complemented with a so-called DynamicSwitch feature that automatically adjusts it’s refresh rate based on the onscreen contents. It’s something like the AdaptiveSync feature that we saw among Xiaomi smartphones.
At the helm, the POCO M3 Pro has also been confirmed to feature an octa-core MediaTek Dimensity 700 chipset which is also present in some of the recently announced mid-ranger phones like the Realme 8 5G and Vivo Y72 5G.
Similarly, POCO also said that the phone will be fitted with a massive 5,000mAh battery under the hood that comes with 18W fast-charging support. Sad to say, there still isn’t any information pertaining to it’s camera department at the moment, but we do expect to hear about them in the next couple of days.
Based on the specs that were revealed so far, the POCO M3 Pro seems likely to be a rebranded model of the Redmi Note 10 5G which was launched back in March this year. However, it do comes with a brand new design on the outside which helps differentiate it from the Redmi Note 10 5G.
