HiSense is now showcasing a new smartphone called HiSense U30 at the Consumer Electronics Show (CES 2019) tech expo in the U.S. The smartphone is equipped with a marvelous display, a new chipset and a 48-megapixel rear camera.
HiSense U30 Specifications and Features
The HiSense U30 features a punch-hole display of 6.3 inches. It is not a Samsung LCD panel found on Huawei Nova 4, Honor V20 and Samsung Galaxy A8s phones. According to XDA Developers, it features a LCD panel supplied by Tianma company from China. The punch-hole display by the Chinese firm is dubbed as O-Infinity Display.
The smartphone is fueled by Snapdragon sm6150 chipset. A spokesperson from HiSense has confirmed to the publication that the sm6150 is the codename of the Snapdragon 675 chipset. The smartphone features a 48-megapixel + 5-megpixel dual camera setup. The primary sensor is Samsung ISOCELL Bright GM1 sensor. At the front is a 20-megapixel selfie shooter.
The handset comes in two RAM variants such as 6 GB and 8 GB. Both models are equipped with 128 GB of native storage. There is no external storage option on the HiSense U30. The smartphone runs on Android 9 Pie OS that is flavored with custom Vision UI. The smartphone features a cowhide textured rear.
The company will be releasing the HiSense U30 smartphone in March. It will be available in China and select markets of Russia and Europe.
