Honor has confirmed that it will be debuting the Honor 10 flagship phone in China on April 19. Also, it will be holding a dedicated launch event on May 15 in London. A teaser image that reportedly belongs to the Honor 10 has appeared. It hints that the handset could be equipped with an under-display fingerprint scanner. Another leaked photo of the Honor 10 that has appeared on Weibo that it could be the first phone from the company to feature Leica branded dual cameras.
The above image does not show presence of a physical home button on the bottom bezels. Hence, it is speculated that the Honor 10 could be equipped with an ultrasonic in-screen fingerprint scanner. The rear view of the phone shows that the Honor 10 will be equipped with 3D glass panel on the back.
The presence of the “Dual Lens 1:1.6/27 ASPH” which is also available on alongside the dual rear cameras of Mate 10 and Mate 10 Pro . This indicates that the Honor 10 couldcould featture Mate 10’s dual camera setup albeit Leica branding.
The rear panel of the phone does not feature a fingerprint scanner. Hence, the handset is speculated to come with an under-display fingerprint scanner.
Nothing much is known about the specs of the phone except for the fact it will be arriving with a 5.8-inch notched display and Kirin 970 chipset. The highest configuration model is expected to be packed with 256 GB of native storage and 6 GB of RAM.
