Recent reports have revealed Honor is soon going to launch a new X-series phone to replace the Honor 9X from last year. Initial speculations suggested that the phone could be debuting as Honor 10X. However, fresh findings suggest Honor may announce it with a modified name of Honor X10.
There was a listing for Honor X10 phone in the Huawei forums site. The listing seems to be no longer available, but its screengrab is now circulating on Weibo. Even a well-known Chinese leakster has claimed that the Honor 10X has been renamed as Honor X10.
A listing of Honor X10 is available on Jingdong Mall. It is an unofficial listing that only mentions the name of the device and has no information on its specifications. However, the seller has a good reputation on the site. It is said that Honor has decided to call the device as Honor X10 so that consumers do not confuse it with the upcoming Redmi 10X phone.
While the Redmi 10X is expected to arrive as a 4G device, the Honor X10 is believed to break cover as the cheapest 5G smartphone. At present, the Honor 30S that was unveiled in the recent past is selling in China as the most affordable 5G phone with a pricing of 2,399 Yuan ($339). The Honor X10 could be priced under 2,000 Yuan ($282).
Last week, a render of the Honor X10 had surfaced on Weibo. However, it was later found to be incorrect. Some reports have claimed that it may come with a punch-hole and it may house a 64-megapixel lens in its rear camera setup. It is advisable to wait for further reports to know more about the device.
