Earlier this week, Honor revealed that the company will be introducing a new member from the Honor 20 series on September 4th next month.
Although the company did the mention anything about the device’s identity, but many has speculated it to be the Honor 20S upper mid-ranger smartphone which was recently spotted at the Google Enterprise directory.
Right now, Honor has officially confirmed that the device to be announced is indeed the Honor 20S. The company has took it further by opening up pre-registration of interests for the device’s debut sale which will commence on September 4th – shortly after it’s official announcement.
Honor 20S Specifications
According to reports, the Honor 20S could be the Honor YAL-AL50 / TL50 smartphones which were recently certified by the Chinese TENAA authority.
If that’s true, then we could expect the device to come with a 6.26-inch display with 1080 x 2340 pixels screen resolution. The device will be driven by a Kirin 980 SoC under the hood, with up to 12GB of RAM and 256GB onboard storage in it’s memory compartment.
On it’s back panel, there is also a triple-camera setup which comprises of a 48MP+8MP+2MP optical sensors. At the front, there is also a 32 megapixels camera for selfie and video calling purposes.
Furthermore, you can also find a 3,650mAh non-removable battery which is said to support up to 20W fast-charging.
