At the end of the previous month, Honor took off covers from the Honor 30S phone. The major highlight of the device is that it is first Kirin 820 5G phone from the company. As scheduled, the first sales of the phone were carried out today in China. Now, the company confirmed that the sales revenue of Honor 30S had exceeded 100 million Yuan within the first second after its debut sales commence. This translates to approximately 37,050 to 41,680 units sold within the first second.
The Honor 30S comes in two models in China. The base model that has 8 GB of RAM and 128 GB of storage is priced at 2,399 Yuan ($339). The higher model with 8 GB of RAM and 256 GB of storage costs 2,699 Yuan ($381). The first sales result of the Honor 30S suggests that the company nearly sold 40,000 units in 1 second.
Honor 30S Specifications
The Honor 30S is equipped with a 6.5-inch IPS LCD display with a punch-hole at its top-left corner for its 16-megapixel selfie camera. On its rear is a quad camera system that includes a 64-megapixel main lens, an 8-mgeapixel telephoto lens, an 8-megapixel ultrawide sensor and a 2-megapixel depth sensor.
The Kirin 820 5G chipset brings support for dual-mode 5G networks on the Honor 30S. The SoC is coupled with LPDDR4X RAM and UFS 2.1 storage. It has hybrid SIM slot that supports a nanoSD card. The phone draws power from a 4,000mAh battery that supports 40W fast charging.
The Android 10 OS is loaded on the device. There is a side-mounted fingerprint sensor on the smartphone.
