Few days ago, the rumor mill started leaking information on the Honor 30 series. It is expected to include flagship phones like Honor 30 and Honor 30 Pro. These handsets are expected to break cover by the end of April. The rumor mill had also speculated on the existence of Honor 30S smartphone. The Chinese firm has now released an official confirmation through its Weibo account that the Honor 30S will be debuting on March 30.
The company has not shared information on the specifications of the Honor 30S. However, the handset will be debuting as the successor of the Honor 20S phone from last year. Since the Honor 20S was an upper mid-range phone, it is speculated that the Honor 30S will not be a flagship device.
Recent leaks have revealed that the Honor 30S that it may debut as the first phone powered by Kirin 820 chipset. A new leak revealed that it is a 7nm 5G-ready chipset with A76 CPU and Mali-G77 graphics. The above image itself highlights the processor that powers the device.
It is believed that the CDY-TN00 phone that was recently certified by the 3C authority of China could be the upcoming Honor 30S smartphone. The 5G-capable was spotted at 3C with 40W fast charger.
Recently leaked renders of the phone have revealed that it could be coming to Chinese markets in gradient color variants of white and orange. The top-left corner of its back panel will have a rectangle camera setup that houses as many as four cameras. The front design of the Honor 30S phone is currently under the wraps.
