Recently, tipster Digital Chat Station revealed that Honor will announce the Honor Magic V4 foldable phone in June. He also revealed that the brand may launch a couple of other models, such as the Honor 400 lineup, Magic V Flip 2, and GT Pro, by mid-2025. Today, DCS is back with a new Honor-related leak, which seemingly reveals key details about the Honor 400 and Honor 400 Pro.
Alleged Honor 400 series display details leaked
In a previous leak about the 400 series, the tipster claimed that the standard model is powered by the upcoming Snapdragon 7 Gen 4 (SM7750) chip and the other device features the Snapdragon 8 Gen 3. At that time, it was speculated that these devices could be the Honor 400 and 400 Pro, respectively.
In today’s leak, the tipster claimed that there is one device equipped with a 6.5-inch flat display that offers a 1.5K resolution and another has a bigger 6.78-inch quad-curved screen that produces a 1.5K resolution. Both smartphones are expected to feature a battery of around 7,000mAh capacity and the Snapdragon 7 Gen 4 chipset. He added that these devices will be launched in the first half of this year in China.
While the 6.5-inch display phone appears to be the Honor 400, there are some doubts about whether the 6.78-inch model will be called the Honor 400 Pro or something else. The reason behind this is that the predecessor numbered series Pro models have always offered Snapdragon 8-series chipsets. If Honor continues to offer the 400 Pro with the Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 chip, it is likely that the phone with a 6.78-inch display and Snapdragon 7 Gen 4 will be called something else, probably a larger version of the standard Honor 400.
DCS also added that the Honor is now exploring smaller and mid-sized displays, with sizes like 6.3 inches and 6.5 inches in development for future phones.
The brand is also prepping up the Honor GT Pro with the Snapdragon 8 Elite. This performance-oriented device is expected to feature a flat display and a massive battery.
