Recent reports have revealed that the Honor 50 series of smartphones will be made official on June 16. A couple of leaks that have appeared in the recent past have revealed the design of the Honor 50 lineup. Now, reliable leaker Ishan Agarwal has shared a high-resolution render of the Honor 50 Pro to showcase its front and rear design.
In the leaked render, the Honor 50 Pro can be seen sporting a curved edge display with a pill-shaped cutout for dual front-facing cameras. Rumors suggest that it could be equipped with a 6.72-inch OLED display that supports 2672 x 1236 pixels resolution, a 120Hz refresh rate, and an in-display fingerprint scanner. It seems to have inherited the 6.72-inch OLED panel that was made available on the Honor V40 5G.
There are two camera rings in the oval-shaped camera unit on the rear shell of the Honor 50 Pro. The top ring houses a single camera, whereas the second ring includes three cameras and an LED flash. As can be seen in the image, the smartphone will be available in four colors such as Bright Black, Summer Amber, First Snow Crystal, and Jade Blue.
The Honor 50 Pro is expected to debut as the world’s first phone powered by the Snapdragon 778G mobile platform. The handset will feature 8 GB of RAM and 256 GB, and it was spotted with an impressive score of 525,904 on AnTuTu benchmarks earlier this week.
The handset will come preinstalled with Android 11 OS and the latest edition of Magic UI. It is expected to feature a 108-megapixel primary lens, but the configurations of its other cameras are not known yet. The rumor mill is yet to reveal its battery capacity, but its 3C listing has revealed that it may ship with a 100W rapid charger.
