Honor 50 Pro+ Specs Leak Reveals Snapdragon 888, 50MP Quad Cameras, and More

Earlier this year, Honor announced the Dimensity 1000+ powered Honor V40 smartphone in China. Recent reports have revealed that the company is gearing up to launch the Honor 50 series of flagship smartphones in the global market. A fresh leak that has appeared on Weibo has revealed the keys pecs of the Honor 50 Pro+, which appears to be the top variant in the Honor 50 series.

As per the leak, the Honor 50 Pro+ has a 6.79-inch AMOLED display that supports a 2K resolution, 120Hz refresh rate, HDR10+, and an in-screen fingerprint scanner. The Snapdragon 888 mobile platform is expected to power the flagship phone with 8 GB of LPDDR5 RAM and 128 GB of UFS 3.1 storage

The Honor 50 Pro+ has a 4,400mAh battery that carries support for 66W fast wired charging and 50W wireless charging. It will ship with Magic UI 4.0 based Android 11 OS. For selfies, the Honor 50 Pro+ will have the main selfie camera of 32-megapixel and an 8-megapixel secondary lens. The front camera details indicate that it will have a dual punch-hole cutout on the screen.

The rear camera setup of the phone has a 50-megapixel primary camera, a 13-megapixel superwide lens, an 8-megapixel telephoto camera, and a ToF lens. It features an IP68 rated dustproof and water-resistant chassis.

There is no word on the pricing of the Honor 50 Pro+, but the leak claims that it will be available in colors like blue, green, white, and red.
