Following the launch of the Honor V40 series smartphones at the beginning of the year, Honor will soon be back to the limelight with the launch of the Honor 50 flagship series which has been tipped to debut in May.
This information came directly from the folks over at GSMArena who also shared an official-looking teaser of the Honor 50 series smartphones which reaffirmed the May 2021 launch date.
On top of the teaser, the publication also shared some sketches which revealed the rear design of the smartphone that somehow resemble what we saw from the Huawei P50 Pro’s CAD renderings.
Interestingly, the sketches depict the top circle with a single camera lens, while the bottom circle is home to a pair of lenses. In between the two circles, there’s also a LED flash to assist with low-light photography.
For the top circle, GSMArena suggests that it might be featuring some sort of snap-on filter or lens which is likely to attach to the camera via magnet. The specific configuration and hardware of the cameras however, remain a mystery at the moment.
If the Honor 50 series smartphones are indeed going to launch next month, then we can expect to hear more information on these highly anticipated devices in the coming weeks.
