Honor will be launching the much anticipated Honor 70 series smartphones on May 30th next week. Ahead of the scheduled launch, we’d already seen the phones’ design via a series of official renders published across various ecommerce listings.
Now, more details pertaining to the Honor 70 Pro (the middle child within the Honor 70 series lineup) have surfaced via it’s Geekbench listing which give us a good idea on what to expect from this upcoming handset.
According to the listing, the Honor 70 Pro smartphone will be powered by an octa-core MediaTek Dimensity 8000 chipset which is also adopted by other notable models such as the OPPO K10 5G. This will be coupled with 12GB RAM in the memory department, though we do expect more variants to be available at launch.
While these are the only information revealed by it’s Geekbench listing, but we did heard from separate reports that the Honor 70 Pro would be among the first batch of smartphones to be equipped with Sony’s brand new 54MP IMX800 imaging sensor for it’s main camera unit. Likewise, the device had also been tipped to feature a 100W fast-charging support.
