Huawei has unveiled the Honor 7X smartphone. It has arrived as a successor phone for the budget-friendly dual rear camera phone – Honor 6X.
The Honor 7X has a 5.93-inch LCD display that produces a FHD+ resolution of 2,060 x 1,080 pixels. The screen is tucked under 2.5D curved glass. The rear side of the smartphone features a fingerprint reader.
The backside of the phone also features dual camera system that includes a 16-megapixel sensor and a 2-megapixel sensor. The front side is fitted with 8-megapixel selfie snapper.
The Kirin 659 is present under the hood of the phone. It features an octa-core processor and Mali-T830 MP2 graphics. It the same SoC that powers the Honor 9i (also known as Huawei Nova 2i and Maimang 6 in different markets).
The SoC is supported by 4 GB of RAM. It comes in three storage models of 32 GB, 64 GB and 128 GB. It is fueled by a 3,340mAh battery. The handset is preloaded with Android 7.0 Nougat that is customized with EMUI 5.1. It features a IP67 certified chassis.
The 32 GB, 64 GB and 128 GB Honor 7X variants are respectively priced at 1,299 Yuan ($199), 1,699 Yuan (~$259) and 1,999 Yuan (~$299). Its sales will begin in China starting from Oct. 17. It can be availed in colors like Midnight Black, Platinum Gold and Aurora Blue.
