The Android Nougat update, which was first rolled out only to the unlocked Honor 8 units in Japan, has now been pushed out to other countries starting today.
This update comes with a hefty file size of 2.27GB and will also bring along the new EMUI 5.0 which first made its debut in November last year with the Huawei Mate 9. Its worth knowing that the international roll out has a considerably larger file size compared to the one received in Japan probably because the Chinese company decides to add some bug fixes in the new update as well.
This update will be available over-the-air, but you can also check it out manually by going to Settings > About phone > System update > Check for update. So share with us about the update if you’d already received it on your device!
