Honor 80 Pro, which debuted in November in China, features an attractive curved-edge OLED screen. There were rumors that it would go official along with the Honor 80 GT and other products earlier this week. However, it did not come true. Fresh leaks have revealed its render, specifications, and launch timeframe.
According to DCS, the Honor 80 Pro flat display variant will have a 6.67-inch OLED display with a Full HD+ resolution of 1080 x 2400 pixels, a refresh rate of 120Hz, 10-bit colours, PWM dimming at 1920Hz, and an in-screen fingerprint scanner. To recall, the original Honor 80 Pro has a 6.78-inch OLED screen with curved edges. It offers a 1.5K resolution of 1224 x 2700 pixels.
The single punch-hole on the display will house a 32-megapixel selfie camera. The regular Honor 80 Pro has a 50-megapixel + 2-megapixel dual selfie camera system housed inside a pill-shaped cutout on the screen. It will have a 160-megapixel primary camera with an f/1.8 aperture. The main camera will be accompanied by an 8-megapixel camera and a 2-megapixel snapper on the back panel. The regular Honor 80 Pro’s main camera is coupled with a 50-megapixel ultra-wide camera and a 2-megapixel depth sensor.
The Honor 80 Pro’s flat display variant will be powered by a Snapdragon 8 Plus Gen 1 processor and a 4,800mAh battery that supports 66W rapid charging. It will have a plastic centre frame and a thickness of 7.2mm. The device will weigh between 186 and 193 grams and will be available in three colours: black, green, and pink.
Another tipster claimed that the Honor 80 Pro flat display variant will be made available for the offline market in China. He added that the device will debut in early January.
