Honor 80 Series to Flaunt 160MP Camera, Dual Front-Facing Cameras

The Honor 80 series is all set to debut on Nov. 23 in China, along with the Honor Magic Vs foldable phone. Before launch, the company has been releasing some teasers to confirm the key features of the Honor 80 lineup. A new teaser that was rolled out today has revealed the primary camera of what seems to be the Honor 80 Pro.

According to the teaser, the Honor 80 series will have a 160-megapixel camera. Reports have said that the Honor 80 SE could be equipped with a 64-megapixel main camera, and the Honor 80 Pro may arrive with a 108-megapixel primary camera. So, it looks like the Honor 80 Pro might be the only phone with a 160-megapixel camera.

Rumors have it that the 160-megapixel camera will not have a new camera sensor. Instead, it could be a customized edition of one of the existing 200-megapixel camera sensors from Samsung. The above image also shows a pill-shaped cutout on the display, which seems to house two selfie cameras. According to rumors, the Honor 80 Pro may come equipped with dual 50-megapixel front-facing cameras.

Other reports have claimed that the Honor 80 SE will feature the Dimensity 1080 chipset and support 66W fast charging. Honor has already confirmed that the Honor 80 will be powered by the Snapdragon 782G chip, which is yet to go official. This device is also expected to support 66W fast charging.

The Honor 80 Pro is confirmed to arrive with the Snapdragon 8 Plus Gen 1 chip onboard. It may offer 100W charging. The Honor 80 trio may run on the Android 13 OS, which could be overlaid with the latest Magic UI 7.0.
