Honor will unveil the Honor 90 and Honor 90 Pro smartphones on May 29 in China. For the past few days, tipster Digital Chat Station has been leaking the key specifications of the Honor 90 duo. In a new Weibo post, the tipster once again tipped the key details of both smartphones.
According to the tipster, the Honor 90 will be powered by the Snapdragon 7 Gen 1 chipset, which clocks at 2.5GHz, and the Honor 90 Pro will feature the 3.0GHz Snapdragon 8 Plus Gen 1 chipset.
Both smartphones will have a curved-edge OLED panel that offers 3840Hz PWM high-frequency dimming. Both devices will also have a 200-megapixel Samsung HP3 primary camera on the back.
The Honor 90 and Honor 90 Pro will have a 5,000mAh battery. It is said that the vanilla model will support 66W charging, whereas the Pro model will offer 90W or 100W charging. Shown above is the official poster, which shows that the vanilla and Pro variants will have a different rear design.
According to another leaker, the Honor 90 will have a 200-megapixel + 12-megapixel + 2-megapixel triple camera unit on the back. On the other hand, the Honor 90 Pro’s rear camera setup will have a 200-megapixel main camera, a 12-megapixel lens, and a 32-megapixel snapper.
In related news, Honor has silently launched the Honor Play 40 5G in the Chinese market. The device features a 6.56-inch LCD panel that offers HD+ resolution and a 90Hz refresh rate. It is powered by the Snapdragon 480 Plus and a 5,200mAh battery. The device offers 6 GB / 8 GB of RAM and 128 GB / 256 GB of storage. It has a 13-megapixel + 2-megapixel dual camera setup on the back and a 5-megapixel camera on the front.
