On May 29, Honor will unveil the Honor 90 series of smartphones. It is unclear whether the lineup will include two or three devices. However, it appears that the company plans to launch at least two models, namely the Honor 90 and the Honor 90 Pro, on said date. A new leak that surfaced today reveals that the Honor 90 duo will be equipped with a 200-megapixel primary camera.
According to tipster Digital Chat Station, the Honor 90 and 90 Pro will have a 200-megapixel Samsung ISCOCELL HP3 primary camera. To recall, the Honor 80 and 80 Pro featured a 160-megapixel main camera, which was a custom-made version of Samsung’s 200-megapixel camera.
This time around, the Honor 90 and 90 Pro will have the original 200-megapixel 1/1.4-inch primary camera sensor with an f/1.9 aperture. Shown below are the official renders of the Honor 90 and 90 Pro.
Rumors are rife that the Honor 90 and 90 Pro will be powered by the Snapdragon 7 Gen 1 and Snapdragon 8 Plus Gen 1 chipsets, respectively. Both models are expected to feature a 1.5K-resolution OLED panel with curved edges. The vanilla model will support 66W charging, whereas the Pro version will offer 100W charging.
These devices were spotted with the respective model numbers REA-AN00 and REP-AN00 in the database of China’s 3C certification. Both phones are also expected to get certified by the TENAA authority in the next few days before the official announcement.
