A couple of brands are gearing up to launch new smartphones in May in China. The Vivo S17 series, the iQOO Neo 8 series, the OPPO Reno 10 lineup, and the Honor 90 lineup are rumoured to break cover next month. Digital Chat Station’s latest Weibo post reveals what to expect from the Honor 90 Pro.
The tipster said that the core specifications of the high-end version of the Honor 90 series have not changed much. It appears that the Chinese leaker could be talking about the Honor 90 Pro.
As per the tipster, the Honor 90 Pro will be equipped with a 1.5K resolution supporting screen that features curved edges and a dual punch-hole. It is likely that it may inherit the same 6.78-inch OLED screen that is available on the Honor 80 Pro.
The rear camera setup will feature the Samsung ISOCELL S5KHP3 primary camera. For those who don’t know, it offers a megapixel count of 200 megapixels. However, the Honor 80 Pro is equipped with a modified 160-megapixel version of the camera sensor.
Since the tipster has claimed that the core specifications of the Honor 90 Pro are same as its predecessor, it appears that it will arrive with the same 160-megapixel primary camera. As per DCS, the 90 Pro will be able to capture slightly enhanced images through the same camera.
The Honor 90 Pro is expected to rival the OPPO Reno 10 Pro+ in the Chinese market. However, the leak states that the 90 Pro will be inferior to the Reno 10 Pro+.
