As scheduled, the much awaited Honor 9A has finally made its global debut during an online launch event today. This will be a brand new entry-level smartphone specifically targeted at the budget-centric consumers.
First and foremost, the Honor 9A comes with a nice dewdrop-notch display which measures 6.53-inches diagonally. This will be a LCD display which deliver a decent 1600 × 720 pixels screen resolution.
In the camera department, the Honor 9A has a rectangular housing at the back which a triple-cameras setup alongside a LED flash. These cameras include a 13 megapixels main camera, 5 megapixels ultra-wide lens and a 2 megapixels depth sensor. It will be paired with an 8 megapixels selfie camera at the front.
At the helm, the Honor 9A is driven by an octa-core Helio P22 SoC coupled with 3GB of RAM and 64GB onboard storage space which is further expandable by up to 512GB via a microSD card.
Moving on, the Honor 9A also has an ample 5,000mAh battery which is able to support hours of usage on the go. On the software-side, the device will be shipped with the latest MagicUI 3.1 based on Android 10 (AOSP version).
For those who’re interested, the device will be offered in a number of different colorways including Ice Green, Midnight Black, as well as Phantom Blue. In the European market, the Honor 9A will be priced at 149 Euro (US$169) for its sole 3GB+64GB model.
