Announced earlier this month, the Honor 9i will soon be available in Purple starting next week. Although the Chinese company had announced 4 different color options for the device including Black, Blue, Purple and Lime, but only the former two are available for purchase in the Chinese market so far.
According to the promotional poster released by Honor, only the 64GB version of the handset will be treated to this new color option. Other than its cosmetic difference, the rest of its specs remain similar. As for its pricing, it will still carry the same 1,399 Yuan (US$ 210) price tag which is consistent to the current Black and Blue variants.
For the benefit of those who’d missed out, the Honor 9i comes with a 5.84-inches display with 1080 x 2280 pixels screen resolution and a 19:9 tall aspect ratio. The device is driven by Huawei’s in-house Kirin 659 SoC as well as their renown GPU Turbo Tech. Camera-wise, you will find a 13MP+2MP dual-camera setup at the back as well as a 16MP front-facing selfie cam. A 3,000mAh non-removable battery will be available under the hood to keep the device ticking for a decent amount of time.
