According to the tipster, Honor will not use the Snapdragon 8 Gen 5 for the standard GT 2. Instead, the company’s final choice for the GT 2 is last year’s Snapdragon 8 Elite chip. For the GT 2 Pro, the brand is said to use the Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 5, which also powers the Magic 8 lineup.

The Honor GT 2 series will feature a 6.83-inch display, and previous leaks indicate that it will support 1.5K resolution and a 165Hz refresh rate. While the tipster has suggested that Honor could use a 9,000mAh battery, it remains unclear whether both models will include it.

The lineup is also expected to feature a 50MP main camera backed by a large sensor and an ultrasonic in-screen fingerprint scanner. In terms of durability, both devices are said to come with a metal middle frame and a fully water-resistant body.
