Previous reports have revealed that the Magic 9 will be a compact offering equipped with a 6.3-inch screen. Having a compact form factor will allow it to rival the likes of the Xiaomi 18 and Vivo X500, which are said to feature similarly sized displays.
In today’s leak, DCS revealed that the Magic 9’s engineering prototype features a 200-megapixel main camera backed by a 1/1.28-inch large sensor. This will be accompanied by a 50-megapixel ultra-wide lens and a 64-megapixel periscope telephoto camera featuring a 1/2-inch sensor.
DCS previously revealed that the Honor Magic 9 will house a massive 8,000mAh battery, the largest in its class. It will also have other features, such as an ultrasonic in-screen fingerprint sensor and wireless charging support.
Under the hood, the Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 6 is expected to power the Magic 9. It is expected to ship with Android 17 and a new version of MagicOS, but the rest of its specifications remain under wraps.
Reports suggest that the Honor Magic 9 Pro will have a bigger 6.85-inch OLED panel, a Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 5 chip, and a 9,000mAh battery. Its rear-facing triple camera setup is said to include dual 200-megapixel cameras.
