Honor is reportedly working on the Honor Magic V2 foldable phone for the Chinese market. At the same time, the company is also said to be working on the launch of a mid-range phone called the Honor X50. A tipster has leaked the launch dates of both products for the Chinese market.
Honor Magic V2
According to the tipster, the Honor Magic V2 will be announced on July 12. It is expected to feature a 2K resolution foldable OLED panel with LTPO technology and high-frequency dimming. It will come with up to 16 GB of RAM, up to 512 GB of storage, and a 5,000mAh dual-cell battery with 66W wired and 50W wireless charging. It will have a slim and lightweight design. The foldable phone is likely to arrive in Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 and Snapdragon 8+ Gen 1 chipset variants.
Honor X50
The tipster revealed that the Honor X50 will be unveiled on July 5 in China. The device is said to pack specs, such as a 6.78-inch curved-edge AMOLED display with a 1.5K resolution, a Snapdragon 6 Gen 1 chip, a 5,700mAh battery with 35W charging, and Android 13 with MagicOS 7.1 UI on top. It will come with up to 16 GB of RAM, up to 512 GB of internal storage, an 8-megapixel selfie camera, and a 108-megapixel + 2-megapixel rear-facing dual-camera system.
Honor is also said to be working on a new tablet called the Honor Tablet X8 Pro. In all likelihood, it will be announced in August in the home market. At present, there is no information available about the specifications of the tablet.
